COVID-19 Safety
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Glendale Unified has implemented multiple layers of mitigation on our campuses to protect students and employees while continuing to create a welcoming environment and foster a positive culture of learning for all students. The District’s health and safety measures are continuously updated based on guidelines from the California and Los Angeles County Public Health Departments.
Vaccination
- Glendale Unified strongly encourages vaccination for all students. Vaccination is required for all Glendale Unified employees and volunteers.
Daily Health Checks
- All students and employees are asked to conduct a daily health check and stay home if you are feeling sick. Students and employees are strongly encouraged to test if experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
Masks
- Masks are strongly recommended for all students, employees, and visitors.
- COVID-19 Testing Glendale Unified continues to offer on-site COVID-19 rapid testing at two locations. Additionally, home test kits are available at all school and district sites.
Quarantine and Isolation
- Glendale Unified follows all quarantine and isolation guidelines from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.
