Student Board Member
Student Board Member
Each year, the GUSD Student Advisory Council elects one of its members to serve as the Student Board Member. Student Board Members are non-voting members of the GUSD Board of Education. They serve as a powerful voice for students on the dais at every Board of Education meeting.
Student Board Member Duties
- Represent all students and contribute to the discussion of issues affecting students.
- Strengthen communications between the Board and District students.
- Provide information to the Board regarding student issues and activities in the District.
