Student Internships & Workbased Learning Opportunities

Glendale Unified School District is preparing all students for college, career and life success.  Providing students with the opportunity to connect academics to the world of work will increase students' motivation and career readiness.

GUSD invites you to sponsor a student intern to help build the future workforce. Businesses and organizations can save time and money by investing in local talent and identifying and recruiting future employees. Businesses also benefit from increased brand awareness as locally preferred employers thanks to the relationships they develop with students, families, and the community.

If you are interested in partnering with GUSD to provide Work Based learning student opportunities, such as mentoring, job shadowing or internships, please complete this form:

Why should businesses sponsor interns?

  • By matching young talent with workplace mentors and positive employment through work based learning (WBL) opportunities, young people receive a positive and rich work experience. Internship opportunities lead to positive future employment and improved lifelong earnings. Businesses can better build a sustainable workforce and healthy, vibrant communities.
