COUNSELOR'S CORNER Check your counselor's Google Classroom and student email regularly.

FAFSA / CADAA Deadline Extended - California has extended the priority deadline for Cal Grants and the Middle Class Scholarships has been extended to May 2, 2024. As a result, students who submit a FAFSA or CADAA by May 2nd, will be considered on time. That means that you still have time to get financial aid for college with the new deadline. The sooner you apply, the sooner your college can provide you an award package. Please remember that some colleges do have earlier deadlines. Sign up for a free workshop at castudentaid.org/c4c today to get help completing your application.

GCC ECAP’s field trip is Thursday, April 4 from 9:00-2:30 pm. About 100+ seniors returned their permission slips, so GCC has graciously scheduled an additional field trip date. Tutoring - Just a reminder that there is tutoring available. If you are not happy with your grades at the 10 week or got an F or a D in any A-G or graduation requirement class, go get help. Remember, grades of “C” or higher means 4-year colleges and universities. Please reflect on your recent quarter grades. What worked? What didn’t? Communicate with teachers, counselors, admin, coaches. Most importantly, get help and attend tutoring. See the schedule below:
