Glendale Unified Receives Golden Bell Award for Student Engagement
GLENDALE, CA – Glendale Unified Student Voice Panels have been recognized with a Golden Bell Award from the California School Boards Association (CSBA) for outstanding family, student, and community engagement. The Golden Bell Awards promote excellence in public education and school board governance by celebrating innovative and impactful programs that make a difference in the lives of our young people.
Each year, the Glendale Unified Board of Education dedicates two Special Board Meetings to engaging student representatives from all five District high schools in a live, public dialogue. Student Voice Panels promote leadership, advocacy, and civic engagement while giving students a voice in creating positive change throughout the District.
