Wellness Wednesdays

Wellness Wednesdays - Every Wednesday the Rosemont teachers and staff will supplement their content curriculum with social emotional support activities.  These activities are not designed to be extra work for the students, but rather an opportunity to connect with students and help them develop coping skills and strategies to support their mental health and well being.  Each department will be covering a different aspect of wellness. For example, English will be teaching Community Building Activities, History will cover Responsible Citizenship, Science will promote Growth Mindset, and PE will be teaching Rest and Recovery techniques. Wednesday afternoons are designated as an independent asynchronous learning block.  This is a chance for students to catch up on any assignments they may be missing in their regular classes.  It is our hope that these Wednesdays will provide our students with the support they need to navigate this unique experience both academically and emotionally.
