Hey Spartans! YOU have the power to make a real difference in someone's life. And it's easy! Bring your old backpack (or a new one if you wish) to the Attendance Office and place it in one of the large brown boxes there. It will be given to someone who greatly needs it!!
As a “Random Act of Kindness” we are reaching out in our local communities. How? We are asking you to contribute a backpack [yours from last school year, a slightly used one, or even new] to donate to those who could make good use of them. Rosemont Middle School and Girl Scout Troop #15751 work with organizations that reach out directly to Union Station Pasadena, Skid Row, downtown Los Angeles, and the Venice Beach area, where the greatest number of homeless men, women and yes, children, live on the streets or in temporary shelters. Backpacks have been requested and are very appreciated! Please bring them to the Rosemont Front Office or Susan Stefun, School Nurse.
