This is Sarah Stehly, your PTA President. The next few weeks are packed with fun and informative activities for the family. Friday morning the 27th, is our first awards assembly followed by Coffee with the Principal. Our new GUSD Superintendent Dr. Ekchian will be in attendance to answer questions or hear about our school. We would love a large turn out to show our school spirit. That same evening is our annual fall family picnic at 4:30pm. This is one of my favorite events of the year as we come together and relax with our friends having good food and conversation. Pena’s Tacos will be providing meal plates for $8.00, and Sixth Grade will be selling beverages and desserts to raise funds for camp. Also, don’t forget about our annual hula hoop contest in which all students and alumni are welcome to participate. There is limited seating at the lunch tables, so you may want to bring your favorite chair and blanket. We hope to see you there.
Thursday, October 3rd, we will have our second annual bingo night at 6:30pm. This event is free, and features prizes for each round like gift cards and Valley View swag. Bring your friends and let’s fill the auditorium for a night of fun as Dr. Reynolds hosts our time together.
