Return to School School Testing Information 1/6/22
Good Morning Keppel families,
I hope you all had a wonderful break. I wanted to make sure you all got the following message from Dr. Ekchian yesterday that explains testing requirements for return as well as new masking requirements.
Here is the message in its entirety.
The following is helpful information to get your child tested:
Thursday, January 6 - Friday, January 7, from 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. - Walk-up testing at the District office - Rapid and PCR tests available
Friday, January 7, from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Drive-thru PCR testing at Crescenta Valley, Glendale, and Hoover High Schools - PCR test only (rapid tests will be administered to individuals who have recovered from COVID-19 in the past 90 days)
Saturday, January 8, from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Walk-up rapid testing at Crescenta Valley, Glendale, and Hoover High Schools, and the District office (Rapid test only)
Sunday, January 9, from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Walk-up rapid testing at the District office (Rapid test only)
Our regular school site testing schedule will resume on Monday, January 10th.
If your child will be testing at a district location and you have not previously visited a Glendale Unified testing clinic, save time by completing the testing registration form online before you arrive.
One additional reminder, if you have traveled out of state or country over the break, please note that unvaccinated students are required to quarantine for 10 days from their date of return. If you have traveled, contact our nurse Erika in the front office via email at email@example.com or call the front office.
