Keppel Weekly News 12/13/21

Good Evening Keppel Families,

We will be having holiday Spirit Days each day next week to get the students into the holiday spirit.  The themes can be found on our website and school calendar but are as follows:

Monday: Mele Kalikimaka - Hawaiian Christmas
Tuesday: Candy Cane Christmas in red and white
Wednesday: Dream of a White Christmas in your whitest winter outfit
Thursday: Twas the Night Before Christmas - PJ Day!
Friday: Hop Into Your Sleigh! It's Santa/Reindeer Day

Our superintendent, Dr. Ekchian, will be visiting our school on Tuesday morning. We are looking forward to showing off our awesome school. Tuesday evening is our next Board of Education Meeting where you can attend in person or via Zoom. One of our very own kindergarten students, Ursula Pei-Rizk from Miss Baldwin’s class will be leading the flag salute. Tune in at 5:00pm.

Good news- our Kids First Fundraising items will be delivered to the school on Wednesday if you chose that to those that requested school delivery. Please plan on coming to school Wednesday afternoon to pick up your items.

Parents, if you are coming to campus to volunteer next week, please be aware that when you sign in at the front office, you must show proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test, pass a health screening and we will check to see if you have a TB test on file.

The forecast for next week’s weather looks cold and rainy on a day or two so please bundle up your kiddos and make sure they are ready for the elements.

Next week is a regular schedule all week with NO MINIMUM DAYS and Friday, December 17th is the last day of school before Winter Break. Students return to school on Monday, January, 10th, 2022. We wish everyone a safe and peaceful holiday break!

That’s all for now!
