Tomorrow, Monday, February 11th is a school holiday in honor of Abraham Lincoln's birthday.
When we return to school on Tuesday, Apex will continue its lessons in classrooms and students are encouraged to continue fundraising to help raise money to help MKS fund our resident artists as well as the other programs they sponsor. Tuesday is an instrumental music day and there is Master Class practice.
Wednesday is a school spirit day and Miss J. Park and Mrs. Hohensee's classes are going on a field trip.
Thursday is a banking day, school starts at 9:00 am. Thursday is Valentine's Day, students can wear Valentine themed clothes and there is Master Class practice.
Friday is our Apex Fun Run day. As long as there is no rain, students will run with their grade level. If it is raining we will have a Plan B for the Fun Run. Students will not run in the rain. Box Tops are due on Friday.
Parents you still have time to nominate a fellow parent, teacher or staff member for a PTA Honorary Service Award. Forms are available in the front office. PTA is also looking for volunteers who are interested in serving on next year's board. They especially need a treasurer.
We are still looking for volunteers for Art Day on March 13th. Please let the school know if you are able to help out.
