Dear Glendale Unified Students, Employees, Families, and Community:
My heartfelt wishes for a Happy Father’s Day to all of our Glendale Unified dads and father figures. Fathers and male role models play an important role in our children’s lives and I am incredibly grateful to have so many highly-engaged fathers in our community. Whether you serve on our Board of Education, work in our district, lead a PTA or Dad’s Club on campus, coach a sports team, or support your child at home, you are an integral part of our students’ growth and development.
Fathers and father figures serve as our advisors, protectors, coaches, cheerleaders, and role models. These duties never end, even as our children grow into adults. My own father is an incredibly selfless man who always puts his family first. He taught me what it means to be a servant leader, a quality I try to emulate in my personal and professional life.
Thank you to each and every one of you for inspiring our children to persevere and reach for their aspirational goals. I truly treasure this Glendale Unified community and appreciate your leadership and partnership as we work together to prepare every child for success in college, career, and life.
