KECLA is holding an art contest to commemorate the 117 years of Korean American immigration history.
Through this event, 2nd and 3rd generation of Korean and Non-Korean Americans will have an opportunity to explore Korean culture through the art.
Any students from K-12 grades are eligible to participate.
Please submit the artwork via mail or in-person. (Must be postmarked by Oct. 12th)

Three winners will be selected from each grade level (First, Second, and Honorable Mention) and winners’ art works will be on the 2020 KECLA calendar.
The winners of the art contest will be announced on the KECLA website on November 4th. The award ceremony will be held on January 11th, 2020.
The first art exhibition will be held at the Koreatown Galleria, 2nd Fl. Plaza, from December 3rd to December 12th, 2019;
and the second exhibition will be held at Cerritos Library, from December 17th to December 25th, 2019.
