     Conflict-Resolution

    “Work It Out” Referral

Conflict is a normal part of life, but how we choose to handle it can impact relationships, our feelings and even academic and work performance.  GHS Restorative Practices “Work it Out” referral system offers a way for students to better manage conflicts.

    How does it work?

Ms. Stafford, GHS’s Restorative Practices Coach, uses conflict resolution/Tier 2 Restorative Practices to help students find solutions and repair relationships.  This is achieved through respectful conversations that have agreed-upon rules and expectations of behavioral conduct.

    How do I sign up?

To request a conflict resolution appointment with Ms. Stafford, please fill out and submit the referral on this site. Once the form is submitted, she will contact you to set up a time to discuss the conflict you are facing and determine next steps for mediation.

    Why is it important?

Finding resolutions to conflicts together helps us build a healthy school community, decreases negative antisocial behavior, repair harm and restore relationships. When we take the time to work it out we alleviate stress, contribute more positively to the school climate and encourage our own social-emotional growth.
