Kimberly Hardash

Kimberly comes from a family of educators, and at a young age knew she wanted to pursue a career in education. As a child and young adult, she attended school in South Pasadena Unified and continued on to UC Riverside to earn her Bachelors Degree in Sociology and Women's Studies. During her undergraduate time, Kimberly attended a study abroad program at the University of Cambridge, England. While abroad, she also traveled throughout Europe and gained many valuable educational and cultural experiences.  After graduating from UC Riverside, she earned her Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from Cal State Channel Islands in Camarillo. For several years thereafter, she continued her education and professional development taking many education courses through UCLA's Extension program.

Kimberly's first teaching experiences began in South Pasadena Unified as a P.E. teacher, and then a long term substitute in first grade.  She has also worked several years in La Canada Unified as a 4th and 5th grade teacher, and in Beverly Hills Unified for six years as a 4th grade teacher and kindergarten teacher. This year, Kimberly joins Glendale Unified as an Elementary Teacher Specialist. She is enjoying working with teachers, supporting them with classroom instruction and curriculum.

Kimberly is also a proud member of the Tournament of Roses Association where she volunteers her time each year to help facilitate the Rose Parade in Pasadena.
