Woodlanders Are Volunteers for Education (WAVE) Foundation is the fundraising arm of the school. WAVE's two major fundraisers, the "Gala" and "Survivor Challenge", have funded Arts and Technology resources for the school including the school’s updated computer lab, Nooks for greater access to digital media and Accelerated Reader, and additional Chromebooks to augment the school’s “mobile labs". WAVE-sponsored programs include our In-School Arts, Taiko Drumming, Multicultural Dance, Theater Arts, Fine Arts, 1-2 Music, 3^rd Grade Recorders, "Walk Through” experiences for 4^th through 6^th grades, Bad Wolf Press Musical Productions, and more. WAVE Foundation funds Wordly Wise, a supplemental vocabulary-building curriculum, as well as Care Counselor and Technology Assistant salaries.

Funding for specific programs happens through a granting process. Grant applications can be submitted via email to wavepresident@gmail.com.
