COMMUNITY HELPERS CULMINATING EVENT

Wednesday, February 24th, we had community helpers come to school with their vehicles for the kids to see, touch and feel. We had a Glendale Trash Truck, a USPS mail truck, an ambulance, a Vons delivery truck, a huge red lawn mower with its own truck, Jose our pool guy, Miguel our Head Custodian with his “buddha” and the GUSD FASO tool truck. The kids had a blast! The trash guys brought little trash trucks with bins for each class. The ambulance guys let the kids climb in the ambulance and sit on the gurney and look at their equipment. The Vons delivery truck brought popsicles for everyone! Every class had photo opportunities and it was just the most awesome time.
