Parent Volunteers

  • As of November 2016, all volunteers will need to sign-in using a computerized sign-in system. Volunteers and visitors need to register by bringing in your driver’s license, and MUST be registered to work on campus starting in January 2017. The registration process is quick and easy. Thank you for helping us keep our campus safe.

Volunteers are welcome in the classroom in a variety of ways

    1. Classroom helpers will assist students and/or prepare teaching materials.
You can sign-up with your child’s teacher to help Monday – Thursday between the hours of 8:45-10:00 a.m.
    2. Prepare Thursday Folders on Thursdays anytime before 1:00 p.m.
    3. Help in the Computer Lab on Tuesdays from 8:30-9:00 a.m.
    4. Help in the Library on Wednesdays from 9:00-9:30 a.m.
    5. Help with clay projects – as needed
    6. Attend a field trip in the Spring

If you are unable to help in the classroom, but would still like to help, you can still volunteer to take items home that need to be cut, glued or collated.

Please Note: In order to volunteer, you will need to have a current TB test on file with Glendale Unified School District AND your home school office. Your clearance card needs to be registered with your home school office. It is valid for 4 years. This is MANDATORY for all volunteers who want to participate in classroom activities.
