Daily Mural Project
Mural Environments and Daily High School Collaborate on Murals
Roger Dolin, owner of Mural Environments, and Emily Goff, art teacher at Daily High School, work together with the Daily High School design class to create murals. Students collaborate with real life "clients" until a selection of mural ideas takes shape. Once a design has been approved, students paint the mural at the Daily campus.
Our process allows us to paint on a synthetic fabric that can later be permanently mounted to most any smooth or semi-smooth surface. Students are guided from early design stages through final completion by a professional muralist along side an art educator who together have a combined experience of over 50 years. Students can earn school credit for their participation. Depending on the project, some students have been hired to paint after school hours.
The Daily Mural Project encourages teens to combine artistic expression with service to their community while working together as a team.
A professional muralist will come to your location and discuss your design options. Indoor murals can be applied to walls semi-permanently with wallpaper paste or attached permanently. Outdoor murals are permanent and weatherproofed.
Support the Arts and Arts Education, challenge our youth and at the same time beautify our community!
