• M.A.C.K. Committed to Our Kids

    What is M.A.C.K.?
Mountain Avenue Committed to Kids (M.A.C.K.) is your nonprofit organization consisting of parents, teachers and staff committed to promoting quality education for the children at Mountain Avenue Elementary.

    M.A.C.K. Mission Statement
M.A.C.K., in partnership with the Mountain Avenue community, raises funds to support ALL children at Mountain Avenue Elementary School in their individual pursuit of an excellent academic, creative, and physical education by supplying needed resources.

    M.A.C.K. Annual Fund
The Annual Fund is MACK's largest fundraiser of the year.  The suggested donation is A MINIMUM of $150 PER CHILD enrolled at Mountain Avenue. That is less than $1/day!  Click on the link below to donate on-line. You can also spread your donation out over the year by setting up a recurring gift of as little as $15/month from your credit or debit card.  All monies donated go directly to Mountain Avenue.

    M.A.C.K. Jog-a-thon

The Jog-a-thon is our second largest fundraiser.  The students run laps on the upper field to raise money for our school's foundation.  Please support the students and, in turn, support our wonderful school!  All monies donated go directly to Mountain Avenue.  Click the "Donate Now" hyperlink below for online donations.  We also accept checks made out to MACK, which can be given to your child's teacher or the front office.

    M.A.C.K. Night Out

MACK Night Out is our third fundraiser.  It is a fantastic, parent-only evening event in the Spring, which includes dinner, a silent auction and live auction.  It is a wonderful time for parents to come together and enjoy an evening out with their school community.

    Board Meetings
Parents and staff members are welcome to join our monthly board meetings generally held at 6:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of every month in the staff lounge (please check the school calendar as meeting days can vary due to other school activities).  All grant requests will be reviewed at these meetings. Your ideas and suggestions for future grants that will improve the quality of our children’s education are greatly appreciated.
