Recreational After-School Program (RAP) | Grades 1-6

  • The Recreational After-School Program (RAP) provides a safe and supervised after-school program for GUSD elementary and middle school students. Supervised homework time and activities that stimulate curiosity, foster creativity, encourage independence, choice-making, and problem solving, and enhance self-esteem are provided daily. 

    • Spaces are limited
    • Students must attend school where the RAP program is located
    • $55.00 weekly fee regardless of how many days the student attends
    • Annual Registration fee
    • Snack is provided

    The RAP is for students in grades 1-8 and operates from school dismissal until 5:30 p.m. for elementary or 6:00 p.m. for middle school. The program does not operate on school/national holidays, or when school is not in session. 

    The RAP is located at the following sites: 

    • Elementary Locations: Dunsmore, Franklin, Fremont, Glenoaks, Keppel, La Crescenta, Lincoln, Monte Vista, Mountain Avenue, Muir, Pacific Avenue Education Center (for Edison students), Valley View, Verdugo Woodlands, and R.D. White
    • Teen Scene Middle School Locations: Rosemont
