Recreational After-School Program (RAP)
The Recreational After-School Program (RAP) provides a safe and supervised after-school program for elementary and middle school children in the Glendale Unified School District. Supervised homework time and activities that stimulate curiosity, foster creativity, encourage independence, choice-making, and problem solving and enhance self-esteem are provided daily. 
This program is for students in 1st through 8th grades and operates from school dismissal until 5:30 p.m.  Middle School programs close at 6:00 p.m. The program does not operate on school/national holiday, or when school is not in session. 
Recreational After-School Program (RAP) is located at the following sites: Dunsmore,  Franklin, Fremont, Glenoaks, Keppel, La Crescenta, Monte Vista, Mountain Ave., Verdugo Woodlands, and R.D. White Elementary Schools: 
Teen Scene Recreational After-School Program (RTS) is located at Rosemont  and Toll Middle Schools.

  • Safe alternative place for children after school
  • Offers homework time and organized recreational activities
  • Must attend school where RAP program is located to enroll in program
  • There is a weekly fee of $55 
  • Annual Registration fee
  • Snack is provided
