Students will learn Spanish through research-based curriculum that prepares them for the Glendale Unified Elementary Dual Immersion Program. Please be aware that enrollment in our Spanish dual immersion preschools do not guarantee space in a FLAG/Magnet GUSD School.
Students are provided the opportunity to become bilingual, bi-literate, and culturally aware in Spanish. The program provides age-appropriate, education and life experiences which facilitate children's development in essential skills related to language and literacy, mathematics, technology, science, history, social science, Spanish language development, health, visual and performing arts, physical and social-emotional development. These learning domains are based on California Department of Education, Preschool Learning Foundations and are taught through the use of Creative Curriculum. Caring high-quality teachers instruct the students 100% in Spanish. Education Assistants are available to assist the students in English.
Children must be 3 years old by September 1 of each school year in order to enroll.
