World Language Advisory Committee

  • Glendale Unified School District is committed to supporting and continuously refining our robust FLAG and World Language programs to promote student success. Part of that is convening stakeholders to participate in the World Language Advisory Committee.

The Committee serves as an advisory to the Superintendent and district staff on our FLAG and World Language programs. It is not a decision making body, but provides input and insight into strengthening and improving our programs districtwide.

In the 2020-21 school year, we will ask the Committee to provide perspective to the district on the following priority areas:

    1. Increase commitment of students throughout elementary school and through middle and high schools

    2. Broaden opportunities for students to develop cultural competence and proficiency

    3. Increase engagement among FLAG families to understand, support, and advocate for dual language education
