Hello! My name is Heather Lapacka and this is my seventeenth year of teaching English here at Wilson Middle School. Before I began teaching, I worked for a family business that made parts for high performance vehicles, which sparked my love for auto racing. In 1999, we made the decision to sell the business and I made a move to the career I'd always known I was headed towards; teaching. Once I'd completed my credential at CSUN in 2001, I began student teaching at Wilson. After just ten short weeks, Mr. Lucas took a chance on me and hired me to fill a vacant English position. Wilson has been my school home ever since.
I hold a B.A. in English: Creative Writing, an M.F.A. in Theater Management from California State University, Long Beach, and a teaching credential in English from California State University, Northridge.
