Read a Newbery award winner or honor book, then complete an AR (Accelerated Reader) quiz by achieving 80% or higher OR complete a project and turn in the participation form to the library.

Student Incentives - Read 2 books, and complete 2 AR quizzes OR 2 projects by February  2, 2018 and qualify to attend the Newbery assembly. Complete a 3rd book and quiz OR project by April 20, 2018 and you will be able to attend the Newbery Ice Cream Social.

The Newbery Medal was named for eighteenth-century British bookseller John Newbery.  It is awarded annually by the Association of Library Service to Children, to the author of the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children.
