Welcome Class of 2024!

  • My name is Ms. Iraheta and I am so excited to be your counselor. These are unexpected times and I hope that although we are not able to work in person, that you know I am available and eager to help you. In general, my role is to help ALL students in the areas of academic, college & career, and social/emotional development. I am here to encourage you to develop the mindset (attitudes/beliefs) that increase academic achievement, planning for your future, career readiness, believing in yourself, and seeking help for any personal or social/emotional challenges.

    About Me
I'm a proud mom of 2 great guys! My oldest son saves lives along with other brave emergency responders. My youngest is a student at UCLA studying mechanical engineering. My career began over 20 years ago in the Glendale Unified District as a teacher. I graduated from Cal State LA, National University, & Cal State Northridge with a Master's Degree in School Counseling along with other degrees and credentials. My mantra is to say "yes" to more happy moments while helping teenagers along the way.

Class of 2024, meet the newest member of the Tornado family. Lola is our new Labrador puppy.
