Welcome Back Class of 2024!
Degrees and Certifications:
Hello Ohana! My name is Ms. Iraheta and I am the school counselor for the Class of 2024. In general, my role is to help ALL students succeed in school in the areas of academic, college/career, and social/emotional development. I am here to assist you to develop the mindset that increases academic achievement, planning for your future, and managing any challenges. I am eager to work with you! If you have any questions, please feel free to email me or book an appointment.
If you would like to schedule a phone call, Zoom or In-person meeting, book a meeting on my calendar below or click on the "You Can Book Me" link https://msirahetacounselor.youcanbook.me/ and choose an appointment time that works best for you.
If you are not enrolled in my Google Classroom Class of 2024 (maybe you are unenrolled or are new to the school), email me so I can add you.
Check your student email at least once a day, and use it when sending me an email. If you use a non-GUSD issued email, your message may be filtered into my spam folder.
About Ms. Iraheta
I'm a proud mom of 2 great guys! My oldest son saves lives along with other brave emergency responders. My youngest is an engineer. My career began over 25 years ago at GUSD as an educational assistant, then a teacher, and later a school counselor. My mantra is to say "yes" to more happy moments while helping teenagers along the way. In my spare time, you will find me spending time with Lola, our family's Labrador.
You Can Book Me
Students book a time that works for you. If your parents/guardians are booking the meeting, make sure you are available to join us. When school is in session, students must book a meeting during snack, lunch, or after school if they are not with their parents/guardians to ensure you are in class. If the matter cannot wait, you may also ask your teacher if it's okay to go to the counseling office with a pass.
