CLASS OF 2020:If you are planning to attend a community college after graduation, create your community college account and follow the registration steps ASAP.GCC Summer school class registration begins May 11 and fall class registration in early June.Registration steps must be complete in order to register for classes.If you are planning to attend GCC - here is a link to their registration process:After you complete the registration process, online counseling is available by appointment through GCC..Go to https://www.glendale.edu/

Letter of Recommendation Request Packet 2019-20 Due 3 weeks prior to your first deadline for all Early Decision or Early Action applications but no later than Thursday, November 21, 2019 for all December 15th or later applications. Counselors will not write letters or upload transcripts until all supporting documentation is received. All students applying to schools via Common App or the Coalition App must complete and submit the packet to the counselor.
Class of 2020 Information and Resources-This presentation was given to all junior English classes in May 2019. It should be used as a resource to help seniors prepare for college applications and post high school plans. Counselors will be meeting with all seniors over the next few months.

UC Personal Insight Questions (PIQs)- This website gives tips and a brainstorming worksheet to help students respond to the PIQs.
The Common App website is the main application site for over 800 private and some public universities. Many of the schools require letters of recommendation and Secondary School Reports from counselors and/or teachers. These video links will help you navigate the site and show you how to invite your recommenders. Remember to submit your Letter of Recommendation Request Packet to your counselor at least 3 weeks prior to your first application due date.
For assistance with Common App please view the step by step video tutorials on the Common App Media YouTube channel. Seniors will need the following information when completing the Common App.
