At Muir, 4th, 5th and 6th grade students have the opportunity to participate in Lego Robotics Club where students build and program Lego Robots. These tasks accentuate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) skills in kids and allows them to create, be imaginative and interact in a fun, team-building environment. The students learn coding and figure out ways to make their robots follow specific commands and perform tasks on a mat. The Glendale Unified School District has a Robotics tournament scheduled in May where all the schools and their Robotics teams participate in a competition.
