What is School Site Council?
Because Wilson Middle School receives Title I funding, School Site Council is constituted every year. The Council consists of parents, students, and teachers in addition to the Principal and other staff members. The Council’s responsibility is to oversee the annual writing of the Single Plan for Student Achievement, monitor its implementation and Title I spending, and review achievement. Meeting 4-6 times a year, Council meetings are open to the public and an agenda is posted a minimum of two days before the meeting on the bulletin board across from the attendance office. Please consider attending Wilson’s School Site Council meetings. We appreciate and need your support to meet the needs of our students.
