The Spring 2017 edition of the EEELP Department Newsletter highlights fun moments from spring camps and afterschool programs as well as providing parents with information on the Desired Results Developmental Profile (DRDP). The DRDPs, done twice per year, are designed for teachers to observe, document and reflect on learning, development and progress of students in expanded learning programs.
EEELP offered summer camp experiences for an average of 500 students per day in TK through 8th grade from June 6 through August 5! Weekly themes for elementary students included Around the World, Safari, Medieval Times, Oceans,
Hands-On Recycling, Paleontology, and Cooking. Middle school students explored filmmaking, coding and robotics, hovercraft design & engineering, physical challenges, cooking, art and music.
