    This edition highlights the many learning opportunities in preschool and after school! Such as the work from EEELP staff developing PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports); art history and student expression; budding student government and leadership; learning "survival" skills; and STEM projects. In preschool, throught the "All About Pets" unit, preschoolers learned about community helpers and caring for animals.

  • Spring 2017 Newsletter

    The Spring 2017 edition of the EEELP department newsletter highlights fun moments from Spring camps and afterschool programs as well as providing parents with information on the Desired Results Development Profile (DRDP). The DRDPs, done twice per year, are designed for teachers to observe, document and reflect on learning, development and progress of students in expanded learning programs.

  • Summer 2016 Newsletter

    EEELP offered summer camp experiences for an average of 500 students per day in TK through 8th grade from June 6 through August 5. Weekly themes for elementary students included Around the WorldSafariMedieval TimesOceansHands-On RecyclingPaleontology, and Cooking. Middle school students explored filmmaking, coding and robotics, hovercraft design and engineering, physical challenges, cooking, art and music.
