Suicide Prevention
-
Psychological service providers and mental health interns at the Student Wellness Services Department are crucial members of the team who assist in conducting threat assessments with students experiencing suicidal ideations, self-harm, and engaging in other harmful behaviors. If a student needs further support, the department offers individual and/or group counseling services. We can all work together to prevent suicide. Suicide is not inevitable for anyone. By starting the conversation, providing support, and directing help to those who need it, we can prevent suicides and save lives.
