    Need Help In Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening? Toll Tutoring Center (TTC) is here for you. 

    The TTC is a virtual tutoring opportunity offered by Toll teachers and high-quality Toll tutors that aim to help students in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Our wonderful teachers work closely and train our eighth grade super stars to offer free help on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:50am-12:50pm and 3:15pm-4:15pm

    Tutors are Harvey Mudd College students who are recommended by faculty and selected for their technical knowledge and ability to communicate clearly. Tutors complete a training program on how best to answer questions over the phone and how to use their experience to help younger students. Both the phone call and the tutoring are free to all student callers. Also, there is no need to register or go anywhere. Students call from the safety and comfort of their homes.

     

    Adelante Youth Alliance (AYA) Fall Programs

    All programs are virtual through Zoom and open to all students.

    One-on-One Tutoring  

    Need individualized attention to help with your learning needs? AYA offers free one-on-one tutoring for students 5th - 12th grade. All our tutors are college-educated and help students learn at their own pace and learning style.

    In partnership with the Armory Center for the Art, students will be introduced to multiple forms of art. Each session, students will work on an art piece with an experienced artist.

    Need help with homework? Having trouble with school subjects? Qualified college students are here to help. AYA is providing free academic assistance for students 5th - 12th grade.

     

    -Thursdays (AYA)

    OurStory @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

    We will explore identity, social justice, college and careers. Through guest speakers and interactive activities, the goal is to achieve personal and professional growth. 

     

    -Fridays (AYA)

    Mentor Program @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

    Mentor Program connects passionate high school and college students with younger students, to develop positive study habits and strengthen academic and critical thinking skills.

    Mentors are able to receive community service hours. On Fridays, mentors will debrief about their mentees progress and organize Film Fridays. Our Art program on Tuesdays and OurStory program on Thursday will be used as mentor days. You can choose one or both days to mentor a younger student.   

    Film Fridays @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

    Organized by our mentors, every other Friday, we will watch a movie inspired by OurStory program.  Movies will explore identity, social justice, college and careers. Discussion will follow after the movie.
