    SUMMER SCHOOL 2020 INFORMATION

    FRIDAY, MAY 22nd, was the last day to get approval from a CVHS counselor for summer school programs.

    Due to COVID 19 school closures and social distancing, information may change as needed.

    Please be patient and keep you and your families safe.

     

    GUSD Summer School:  Remedial courses, special Integrated Math Bridge Pathways, or Biotechnology

    Dates: Semester 1: June 15th- June 30th

              Semester 2: July 1st- July 17th, July 3rd is a holiday

    Enrollment: CVHS Counselors sent notifications to incoming students and current students. Please check your student portal for teacher assignments.     Enrichment and Advancement Summer School Programs:

     

    GEF Summer School:  A FEE based program sponsored by the Glendale Educational Foundation

    Transcripts/grades will automatically be transferred to CVHS transcripts by GEF Summer School at the end of July. 

     

    Alternative summer school programs listed below:

    Transcripts/grades will automatically be sent to CVHS from OFL, OFY, or the GCC Student Success Center in August.

    ANY OTHER PROGRAMS:

    •  It is the student's responsiblity to submit official transcripts/grades at the end of summer for any programs not listed above. Grades will only be posted to CVHS transcripts if the course was pre-approved by a CV counselor. 

     

    Community College courses offered during summer school via the GCC main campus will not be posted for high school credits. Students will earn college credits only and do not need to submit transcripts to CVHS. 

     

    CVHS Counselors are not responsible for enrollment, grades, or programs outside of GUSD and are providing the information above as a courtesy to families.
