Math Pathways
-
In compliance with the California Math Placement Act of 2015 (SB 359), the following mathematics pathways and placement criteria for Glendale Unified School District are documented below. The Math Placement Act requires districts to post on their websites "a fair, objective, and transparent mathematics placement policy for pupils entering grade 9" that "takes multiple objective academic measures of pupil performance into consideration." Parents who question a pupil's placement should contact the school counselor. For the full text of SB 359 click here.
