The Glendale Unified School District extends their deepest gratitude to Fondazione Italia for their generous grant to the Italian program at Franklin Magnet School, Toll Middle School, and Hoover High School. The grant funds are generously provided by the Italian government under the auspices of the Consulate General of Italy in Los Angeles. Through their financial support, the district is able to fund teaching assistants who are native speakers of Italian in the elementary program and help supplement the funding for the secondary Italian teacher as the program grows. Their contribution is instrumental to the success of the Italian program throughout the district, and GUSD is thankful for their ongoing partnership.
