Public meetings of the board of Education are usually scheduled
on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. Most regular meetings
begin at 3:30 p.m and, depending on the length of the agenda, reconvene
at 7 p.m. following a recess. Special sessions are held as needed.
Most meetings convene in the Board Room of the Administration Center.
Contact the
Superintendent’s office for a meeting schedule. Information
also is posted prior to the meetings in the Administration Center
lobby, local newspapers and the here on the district’s website.
Visitors are welcome at Board meetings. They may address the board
on specific agenda topics or on general subjects relating to education.
The public also may place items on the agenda by submitting a
request in writing to the Superintendent’s office by 4 p.m.
on the Tuesday prior to the week of the next regular meeting. Agendas
for each meeting are always posted in the lobby of the Administration
Center 72 hours in advance, posted here on the district’s website
and available in the Superintendent’s office.
