2004-05

At its meeting on Tuesday, March 30, 2004, beginning at 3:30 p.m., the Board of Education adopted the 2004-05 student attendance calendars, K-12, for schools on a traditional schedule. In brief summary, teachers would report on Tuesday, Sept. 7 (the day after Labor Day), and classes would open on Wednesday, Sept. 8. The dates of January 3 to 5 and 7, 2005, would be regular student attendance days. Classes would not be held on Thursday, Jan. 6, in observance of the Day of Epiphany. The final day of instruction would be Thursday, June 23. Teachers would remain on duty on Friday, June 24.
