Certificated Employment
We are currently accepting applications from Multiple Subject (elementary/self-contained classrooms), Single Subject (secondary/departmentalized classrooms), Special Education, Pupil Personnel (Counseling), Speech, Language, Hearing candidates for contract positions. Applicants must hold or be eligible for a California credential. Passage of the California Basic Skills Test (CBEST) is a state requirement. Click on Teaching Opportunities for current openings.
Substitute Teaching
Priority in hiring will be given to credentialed applicants.
Beginning September 4, 2007, the rate of pay for substitute
teachers will be $121 per day. Long-term assignments will pay $151
per day after the 10th day in the same assignment.
Substitutes are required to attend a half-day
training prior to assignment in the classroom.
