$12.13/hr, increasing to $12.72 in 6 months.

Job
Summary:
Physically handicapped students need assistance upon arrival and departure at school and throughout the day. They need help with their personal care needs and specialized health care services.
Other duties include:
Providing basic emergency care until medical assistance arrives
Administering medication as directed
Observing and reporting student's progress and interpreting student's needs to the teacher
performing a variety of office clerical tasks
Minimum
Training and Experience Requirements:
Applicants need a knowledge of personal and behavioral characteristics of handicapped children, special education materials and classroom procedures. They must also have the ability to lift and move the handicapped student (50-75 pounds).
