Welcome to the GUSD website. The site has been designed with the visitor in mind. Our hope is to offer a site that is interactive, user-centric, and aesthetically pleasing while maintaining relevant information for parents, children, teachers and other members of the community.

To this end, we've endeavored to make the site accessible to as many people as possible. Site search, global navigation, and 'Jump to' navigation have been added to accommodate easier, efficient search for information.

Although a large percentage of our visitors are capable of taking full advantage of the site, we have provided a text - version for those who are using systems/ browsers that cannot handle JavaScript or graphic intensive pages.

Browser Recommendation
For optimum feature performance and viewing, Safari 1.0 or Internet Explorer 4.0 (and above) is recommended to view this site. Netscape 4.0 (and above) is capable of viewing all content, with some graphic interaction problems. And for the technically inclined... this site utilizes Javascript, cascading style sheets (for text and tables) and layers (for navigation menus and the Showcase page).
