The staff at Horace Mann Elementary will collaborate to ensure that all of our students fluently read, understand, analyze and respond to grade level text as a result of instruction that incorporates research-based strategies. Students' success will be measured by their performance at the "proficient" or "advanced" levels on the CST ELA and by reaching stated targets on site-level benchmark assessments.
