Enrich your child's future: Edison Language Academy-
Dual Immersion in English & Spanish. Edison Elementary is offering a unique opportunity to all Glendale students entering Kindergarten this summer. It is a dual immersion program where students learn to speak, read and write in English and Spanish. It is for English proficient and Spanish proficient children. English speaking children include those who know English and may speak another language. English and Spanish speaking students will work side-by-side, developing fluency in their own and each other's language.
The goals of our program are:
* To develop fluency and literacy in two languages: English & Spanish
* To ensure academic excellence that meets or exceeds District and State Standards
* To cultivate understanding and appreciation of other cultures and to strengthen positive attitudes towards their peers, their families and community

Enrollment is limited and open to all entering Kindergarten students. For more information contact Wendy Rios at 818-241-1807
