• We have achieved an API of over 900 for three of the last four years.
• We are a recipient of the 2007 Honor Roll award for closing the achievement gap, which was presented by the California Business for Education Excellence Foundation and Just for Kids.
• We have developed a plan to provide ongoing training for teachers, students and parents in order to implement research-based strategies that address our focus on writing.
• We continually collaborate and implement effective strategies to maximize student achievement.
• PTA has documented over 9,994 volunteer service hours.
• Foundation has raised $35,000 to support a state of the art computer lab.

Dunsmore Elementary School creates and maintains a nurturing and effective environment in which students thrive and maximize learning to their potential. Through core curriculum, using differentiated instructional strategies, all students are able to engage in a rigorous and challenging learning process. As a result of collaboration, the staff ensures student learning by organizing and enhancing the existing standards-based curriculum, instructional resources and assessments.
